The Ostrich is the largest living bird, reaching a height of up to 8 feet and a weight of 230 lbs. It has a long neck and legs, is flightless, and is capable of running at about 40 mph. It lives in the wild in Africa, and is farmed all over the world. Our Ostrich String Puppets are not quite as large at 22 inches tall (not counting string length), but they can run at 40 mph (of course you will also have to run at 40 mph since you are the puppeteer).
