Small String Puppets

These little marionettes are are only about 14 inches tall, not counting the length of the strings. They are not only very easy to operate (just jiggle the control to make the puppet dance), but they are also very easy to untangle should (gasp) you drop the control.

Large String Puppets

These impressive and funny-looking Ostrich Marionettes stand a full 22 inches tall, not counting the length of the strings. To make them walk, just rock the control (pictured below) from side to side like an airplane dipping its wings.

This is the control for a Large Ostrich Marionette. The control for a Small Marionette looks similar but has a cross bar at each end rather than a singe bar in the middle (see picture above left). Both styles of control allow for the easy untangling of misfortunate accidents. Each string has a knot at the top which may be pushed up throuh the tiny hole in the control and slid out of its slot. Once the strings are free of the control, they may be untangled and then reinserted back into their slots.
